"Senior Awards Night |

On December 10th
2006 Miller's provided a custom two tier stage for the annual Football
banquet sponsored by the RU touchdown Club. The stage needed to
be big enough to accommodate 26 seniors (lower tier) and 7 coaches along
with the podium and awards on the top tier. This was a challenge to fit
into a room than needed to accommodate close to 1000 in attendance.
Stuart Kohn (Miller's) along with input from Kevin McConnell (Deputy
Athletic Director), Greg Schiano (head coach), and Susan Beursken
(director of Special events) managed to pull it off
Miller's
supplied a 8' x 66' foot lower tier in plush black carpet coupled to
an upper tier 8' x 44' in plush red carpet with "block R" inserts to
add to the ambiance of the evening. Addition items miller's
provided included: linen, easels for awards and a red carpet
entrance 60 feet long for the players to enter the event on.
The event was
an overwhelming success.
